’m Emily. I’m a photographer, a wife, a mom, and a Jesus follower. Photography started as a creative outlet for me, but over time it became one of my favorite ways to connect with people. I love getting to know who you are, what matters to you, and the story you're living right now.

Photography is my small way of stepping into your story for a moment and helping you remember it through images you can hold onto for years to come.

When thinking about who we would want to take pictures for our wedding day, it was no question that it was Emily. Our photos turned out so crisp and colorful while still having a ton of moody contrast ones.

She was organized, and always on top of everything. I never had a reason to worry about the work she was doing or the quality of her work. Specifically on the day of the wedding, her and her second shooter were incredible.They made sure everything was running on time, all of the pictures I wanted were taken, and that all of the right people were in the right places at the right times. It truly allowed me to enjoy my day to know that everything was so well taken care of. Not to mention, I cannot express how happy I am with the pictures themselves.

Black and white photos have my heart.

There is something so nostalgic and timeless about them.

If you hire me to take your wedding photos yes you will get lots of colored photos but you will also get plenty of black and white photos as well.

What I loved about Addie and Brian’s wedding day was that they did what felt right for them.

That looked like having two receptions, a dessert one with everyone invited to the wedding, and then a dinner one with their closest friends and family.

They had their dog, Sparrow, as the dog of honor.
They went for bright florals and citrus vibes.
Addie wore a long flowered veil that was homemade.

They were unapologetically themselves which is a beautiful thing.

In my early twenties, I spent time in the South Pacific islands, and it impacted how I saw God. I saw Him in the dances, the food, the songs, the traditions. It was like God whispered, “See? I’m here too.”

Photographing Rosebud’s wedding brought me right back to that same sense of awe. Her culture carries so much depth, reverence, and beauty. I felt God in it. The same Spirit moving.

The Kingdom of God isn’t one culture, it’s every culture. every nation, every tribe, every tongue. Each carrying a reflection of who He is. And I feel so honored that photography lets me see and share glimpses of that.

This sweet couple broke the mold and had a morning wedding with brunch, Italian sodas, games, and dancing. When I asked them what they were going to do after the wedding they said, “Probably check into our hotel and then go eat dinner somewhere”. They wanted a flexible, none stressful, fun day that they could fully enjoy.

Just a reminder that your wedding day is about you! Do what you want, break the mold if it doesn’t fit, and don’t be afraid to say no to things you don’t want.

Your wedding day is allowed to be special and unique just like you!❤️

My favorite part of this wedding was the tears in both Leah and Anthony’s eyes during the wedding ceremony🥹

Watching two people give their vows to one another is a sacred moment that I’m always honored to capture.

Being a wedding photographer leaves me with tired hands and feet but a FULL heart❤️ The trade off is absolutely worth it and I feel extremely blessed to be a wedding photographer.
